1) Recommended configuration and minimum computer requirements for use of this
   CD-ROM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minimum recommended hardware needed for use of this CD-ROM:

- Pentium(tm) 233 MHz, with 32 MB of RAM memory
- 30 MB of free space on hard drive
- 24x speed CD-ROM reader or faster
- Mouse
- 16 bit sound card compatible with Sound Blaster 16(tm)
- Colored VGA monitor with Vesa Local Bus or PCI video card for
  65,536 colors configuration and 800 x 600 pixels resolution.

Minimum hardware required for use of this CD-ROM:

- Pentium(tm) 166 MHz, with 16 MB of RAM memory
- 30 MB of free space in hard drive
- 12x speed CD-ROM reader.
- Mouse
- 16 bit sound card compatible with Sound Blaster 16(tm)
- SVGA monitor with Isa video card for 65,536 color configuration
  and 800x600 pixels resolution.

The use of equipment possessing the minimum configuration requirements will result in slower operation.
When video cards with less than 65,536 colors are used there will be color
modifications on screen, described in item 3 - Computer adjustment - color,
resolution.

The following software should be installed:

- Windows 95(tm) or higher with drivers for mouse control, CD-ROM, sound
  and video card
- Video for Windows 1.1 (included in windows 95(tm) or higher)
- Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader 4.05 (included - you can install it after starting up
the CD-ROM. Important: read section 6)

2) CD-ROM Installation
----------------------
If your computer has the minimum configuration or better than that which is described above, follow these instructions for installation of the CD-ROM in Windows 95(tm) or higher:

- using the mouse, click on the "start" button on the Task Bar
- Click on the "run" item in the menu.
- Type the letter for the CD-ROM drive followed by "\IGC.exe"
(for example "d:\IGC.exe") then press "enter"
- Follow the program installation instructions

3) Computer adjustment - color, resolution
------------------------------------------

Color
-----
The graphic images and pictures of the CD-ROM were produced to be viewed on screens with up to 65,536 simultaneous colors.
In order for your computer to function using this quantity of colors, a video adapter card is needed as well as the required software.

These software programs (drivers) accompany your video adapter card. Your version of Windows(tm) should be configured to work with this number of colors before using this CD-ROM. If you should have any questions or concerns, consult the manual for your video adapter card regarding how to proceed with the configuration.

Resolution
----------
This CD-ROM works with 800xs600 pixels resolution. If your version of Windows(tm) is configured to this resolution, the application will fill the screen. If the resolution is higher (1024x768, for example) the application will appear more towards the center of the screen and the window's border will be seen.

4) CD-ROM use
-------------

Windows 95(tm): click on "Start", then click on "Run", then type in d:\IGC.exe or
you can install a shortcut on the desktop and start this CD-ROM by using it.

Utilization of the CD ROM is quite simple. As soon as you enter the program, a box of choices appears for you to either install Acrobat Reader(tm) 4.05, to create a shortcut or to start the CD-ROM.
Then, the program will show an animation. The animation may be interrupted at any time by clicking the left mouse button.
When the animation ends, the main menu, which is the first screen of the program, appears.

5) Performance Problems and lack of computer memory
---------------------------------------------------

In case the software presents problems with memory or is operating very slowly,
do the following steps in order to improve your system's performance:

- Configure your version of Windows(tm) to use a big cache for your CD-ROM drive,
and optimize it to an 8X CD-ROM drive or faster, even if your computer has a
  2X CD-ROM drive.
- Verify that your computer's hard disk has at least 20 MB free (virtual
  memory).

6) Other problems
-----------------

Errors that could cause problems:

. IML32.DLL error --> This error is produced when the CD-ROM uses some routines
from Windows(tm) operating system when a window is in use. This is an
error that appears in the testing and production phases. If you have this specific problem,
the only solution is to close the CD-ROM and execute it again.

. Starting Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader before or after use of the CD-ROM --> This CD-ROM uses a piece of software (named PDF Xtra) which is responsible for the interaction between the CD-ROM and Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader. For this reason, if Acrobat is opened before the PDF Xtra is started, PDF Xtra will still close Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader upon exit.

However, if the same problem occurs with Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader, PDF Xtra will leave Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader running. This means that if you are not able to start Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader after using the CD-ROM, then you must perform the following steps in order for the situation to return to normal:

- Type <Ctrl-Alt-Del> to have the Windows(tm) dialog box "Close programs".
- Search for "Acrobat" and/or "Acrotray"
- Close the service (task) by first clicking on the word ("Acrobat" or "Acrotray") to select it and then by clicking on the "Close task..." button.
- try again to start the Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader.

In Windows(tm), if the CD-ROM is open and you attempt to launch Acrobat, nothing
will happen. This is because Windows explorer thinks that Acrobat is already
open. To force Acrobat to open, first close the CD-ROM, and then launch Acrobat.

. Blank or yellow Screen --> It's possible that a problem between Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader and PDF Xtra could cause the screen to go blank (or yellow) when you are calling up a paper. If this should happen click on the "back" button, and then try again.

. Installing Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader -->

ATTENTION: IF YOU HAVE A VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT(tm) READER WHICH IS LESS THAN
4.05, YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THE NEW VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT(tm) READER 4.05 WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THIS CD-ROM.

HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS, YOU MUST FIRST UNINSTALL THE
OLD VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT(tm) READER, RESTART YOUR MACHINE, AND THEN
INSTALL THE NEW VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT(tm) READER INCLUDED IN THIS
           CD-ROM.

We recommend that you disable the Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader Splash Screen. To do this, perform the following steps upon opening Adobe Acrobat(tm) Reader:

- Open FILE menu

- Select PREFERENCES

- Select GENERAL

- Under OPTIONS, uncheck "Display Splash Screen at Startup"

- click on the OK button

. System locks up --> If by chance your system happens to lock up, you must perform the following steps in order for the situation to return to normal:

- Type <Ctrl-Alt-Del> to have the Windows(tm) dialog box "Close programs".
- Search for "IGC"
- Close the service (task) by first clicking on the word ("IGC") to select it
and then by clicking on the "Close task..." button.
- Start again the application (section 2)
